29 WELSH WATERS:

19. Plas-y-parc Pools at Halkyn:
Brown & Rainbow Trout.
A number of pools fishable all year around accept when dates for shooting duck makes the lakes to dangerous to fish you will be notified of these dates annually. Well stocked fisheries and good fun. A 2 fish limit is on force here.

20. River Cledwen, at Hafod near Gwytherin:
Salmon, Sea & Brown Trout.

A tributary of the Elwy a small but productive river fished best on a flood or dropping water. Salmon, Sea Trout & Nice Browns but you need to stalk them.

21. Lake Llyn Bwlch:
Wild Brown & Rainbow Trout.

This 5 acre lake has its own bothy with comfy seats and barbecue.

Set in lovely scenery the owner Bob Glynn has turned this lake into a superb fishery all fish are over wintered stocked from 5-8 inches after the initial stocking all fish are in superb condition, barbless and a sport fishery, if you want a wild brown to 10lb we have them here best rainbow last season was 9lb full finned and a 100yds line stripper. best brown was 14lb and both these fish are still here.

The picture is of a typical Llyn Bwlch rainbow 3.5lb of speed and power look at the condition of that fish.
